About
Isabell is an urban planner and architect with a strong expertise in integrated urban development, capacity building and urban policy. At TSPA, she leads projects on land management plans in Mozambique, research on integrated urban development and housing as part of a knowledge exchange network between several cities in the U.S. and Germany, regional strategies, city-wide visions, and urban planning dialogue processes. Her strong interest in the interaction between the built environment and people is shaped by her previous work experiences in South Africa, Egypt, and Germany. Isabell believes that architecture and urban planning play a crucial role in human rights. Therefore, she is actively involved in NGOs and initiatives working on the topic of human rights and the right to the city for all.
