Bella is on her way to Heidelberg for this year's 17th German Federal Congress on National Urban Development Policy.
She is there as part of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) project - Dialogues for Urban Change (D4UC), which are international peer-learning networks between German, American, Ukrainian, and South African cities. They exchange on current urban development aimed at the common good. This project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB), and TSPA is taking part as the accompanying researcher for the the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban Affairs and Spatial Development (BBSR).
In this year's Congress all three networks will be presented in the event "from local to global: cooperation in urban development" on the 17th of September from 2 to 4 pm hosted by BMWSB. We look forward to seeing you all there to talk in person about the urban development approaches and policy in each city's context, and to hear about the learnings from the cities that have been paired together.
Stay tuned on more updates from the Congress!
