On Tuesday, Frankie spoke to urban and regional planning students at Technische Universität Berlin as part of the Berufspraxis series about her path to becoming an urban planner, the work of TSPA, and observations from international practice.

Frankie is an urban planner who has been with TSPA for over two years, providing her expertise on multiple projects, including regional spatial development projects in Georgia and helping co-vision the future of carbon-neutral cities across Europe.

The purpose of Frankie’s presentation was to highlight the complexity of an urban planner’s role, understanding context, reality, and scale, and the importance that planners have as facilitators in times of urban and regional transformation.

Thank you to the TU Berlin Institute for Urban and Regional Planning and to the students for a great discussion!
