We are excited to introduce Neeka Mehran, our new intern. Neeka is currently an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, pursuing a B.A. in Sociology with a focus on Law, Justice, and Social Change, as well as Urban Studies. She has a keen academic interest in urban inequality and is passionate about exploring the intersection between planning and social justice.
At TSPA, Neeka is contributing to the development of the German-American cities toolbox. Her work involves analysing planning tools related to mixed-use development, densification, and housing.
Neeka is joining us as part of the Institute for the International Education of Students programme, IES Abroad Berlin. She is enthusiastic about gaining unique experiences at TSPA, which will allow her to deepen knowledge and skills in urban planning.
Welcome to the team, Neeka!
