Thomas will be conducting a series of workshops as a UN-Habitat consultant in the Philippines, Mozambique, and Kenya in October and November.
Manila, Philippines (23-25 October): The workshop will involve five municipalities and will focus on a rational Back to the Basics approach for sustainable urban development, exemplifying UN-Habitat principles.
Northern Mozambique (Nampula and Nacala, 3-6 November): This workshop will focus on city-corridor developments and planning progress as part of the ASUD (Achieving Sustainable Urban Development) program.
These workshops will provide valuable insights into sustainable urban development strategies in different regions.
