The municipality of Nilüfer, Bursa (Turkey) invited Thomas, along with Laura Petrella of UN-Habitat, to support a workshop on "Developing An Urban Transformation Project in Nilüfer, Bursa" on 29 and 30 January 2014. They presented the UN-Habitat approach, principles, and a set of best practices.
