Her methodology is shaped by her experience in developing integrated, multi-scalar strategies through inclusive and co-designed processes that emphasise knowledge transfer and capacity development. Alessandra's approach integrates climate-responsive and socially equitable actions that promote both environmental and social justice in addressing the rising challenge of urban resilience.
Recent examples of her work include providing technical consultancy for climate and gender sensitive measures in selected Rwandan cities, advising on capacity strengthening and design for climate change adaptation across five districts in the Philippines, and co-developing implementation guidelines for pilot eco-districts in Indonesia.
