It is not only about living space
Urban Coop Berlin initiates cooperative housing projects, connects those who like to participate, and facilitates the entire process from the first architectual sketch to the hand-over of keys.
As part of this cooperative housing project, TSPA aims to play its part in counteracting rising rents, speculation, and displacement.
Combining very different interests
The cooperative housing project unites diverse interests, aligning the needs and desires of Urban Coop Berlin's candidates with the urban development goals of both the Berlin Senate and the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district.
New Urban Quarter With Over 900 New Housing Units
Cooperative Housing Project
The cooperative housing project is situated in the 'Schöneberger Linse,' a new urban district with the potential to add over 900 housing units in the coming years, located between Südkreuz long-distance railway station and Schöneberg S-Bahn station.
At the heart of the concept is a pedestrian-friendly city street, featuring ground-floor daycare centers, commercial, cultural, and dining spaces, along with tree-lined avenues and adjoining city squares

Typologies of Communal Living
The housing typologies within the project are based on the principles of flexible (adaptation of apartments, customisable, multifunctional rooms, floor plan variety), fair (simple/modular construction, self-built, easy standards, minimisation of private space), together (innovative forms of living, communal outdoor spaces, communal indoor spaces, special equipment), and responsible (ecological/innovative design, integration of commercial/cultural uses, creation of public space)
